The seeds of RHYTHM were sowed around one year before the organization came into formal existence.

History :

The seeds of RHYTHM were sowed around one year before the organization came into formal existence. Sri Vivekananda Dey, the founder-director of RHYTHM, is associated with the National Association for the Blind as a Music instructor for the visually impaired. His experience at NAB led him to the realization that handicapped musicians were often deprived of opportunity and appreciation, in spite of being adequately talented.

Thus the idea of an organization, where all the students of music would receive unbiased opportunity and appreciation, was mooted

RHYTHM’s First function was held on 12th March, 2003 in New Baradwari Club House, Sakchi, Jamshedpur.

The Second Function was organized in “Hotel Smita” on 30th Nov. 2003 in which students of RHYTHM staged a colourful programme.

Present Status :

RHYTHM is gradually getting strengthened because of the efforts of well wishers and companions, but still we feel lack of resources & finance. Despite of this, we are not discouraged and all of us believe ourselves to reach to the horizon very soon.

Now, RHYTHM is consistently oriented to get a new level of excellence & affluence. In this regard, we are trying to have a well-maintained office, sufficient number of instruments, a well-equipped practice room, sound system etc. and hope we will get it soon

RHYTHM is struggling hard to establish in our country as well as in abroad through their dedicated achivement in the filed of instrumental music and we are trying our level best to materialize the same. We expect all possible help from our well wishers

Conclusion :

RHYTHM is still striving to improve its infrastructure viz. well furnished modernized office, Practice Room with appropriate gazets for students, latest musical instruments, sound system etc. and we are very hopeful to achieve all these.
